On July 9 and July 10, 1988, Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street band performed in front of over 80,000 fans at a packed out Bramall Lane, which hosted a concert for the first time.
Despite the Sheffield United pitch becoming a bit of a ‘mudbath’, the two-day event was overwhelmingly successful and became one of the biggest concert ever held in South Yorkshire.

I ve purchased a few items now from Tony at BruceBuds and all have been excellent quality backed up with first class service. This particular Sheffield sign is a little more special to me as it was the 3rd Springsteen concert I attended. My first was Roundhay Park Leeds in 85 and thankfully Tony has produced a wonderful ticket sign for that show too, and the pair look wonderful next to each other.
